Elyn Zimmerman (born 1945) is an American sculptor known for her environmental art.
A native of Philadelphia, Zimmerman received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1968; she received her MFA there four years later. Her teachers included Robert Irwin and Richard Diebenkorn. She creates large-scale outdoor projects, featuring gardens, water features, seating areas, and other elements; her work is held by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Neuberger Museum of Art, and the National Geographic Society, among other entities. She has exhibited widely, including at the 1980 Venice Biennale. With Tadao Ando she won the 2016 Isamu Noguchi Award. She was married to curator Kirk Varnedoe until his death.
