Elsie Allen High School (EAHS) is a high school located in Santa Rosa, California at 599 Bellevue Ave. It is part of the Santa Rosa High School District, which is itself part of Santa Rosa City Schools. The primary feeder school is Cook Middle School. The school is named after Elsie Allen.
Elsie Allen High School was founded in 1995. The first graduating class of the school was in 1997. It was named after Pomo basket weaver and educator Elsie Allen. A senior student was beaten on campus by members of the Santa Rosa Police Department in March, 2011. The student was accused of pulling a knife on the police during an early morning confrontation. In February 2013, the Elsie Allen boys basketball team was apologized to by Petaluma High School for racial actions and remarks made by students during a basketball game towards Latino student players on the Elsie Allen team. In November, 2013, the campus was put on lockdown after a teacher was stabbed by a student at Midrose High School, which is located on the Elsie Allen campus.
The campus is also home to Midrose High School, an alternative school. Midrose is located on the northside of the campus.
