Elise Madeline LeGrow (born June 4, 1987) is a Canadian recording artist and songwriter.
Elise was offered a publishing deal from Sony/ATV Music Publishing following a live performance at the 2009 NXNE music festival in Toronto.
Her first, self-titled EP contains songs written with Sony/ATV artists Jon Levine, Ron Sexsmith and Stefan Skarbek. The first single, "No Good Woman", was the most added single on adult contemporary radio in Canada the week of April 7, 2012. The single peaked at number six on the Nielsen BDS Adult Contemporary chart, and remained in the top 10 for 13 weeks.
Her first album, a seven-song EP titled Elise LeGrow EP, was released on December 4, 2012. Available only on online music stores, the playlist starts with No Good Woman. The album was recorded at Metalworks Studios in Mississauga, Ontario. A few days before Valentine's Day 2013, Elise put a new song on YouTube with lyrics.
LeGrow's next album Playing Chess is due in early 2018, with You Never Can Tell and Who Do You Love released in advance as singles. The album was produced by the team of Betty Wright, Steve Greenberg and Michael Mangini, who had previously teamed up to produce Joss Stone's early albums. In September, 2017 Elise performed "You Never Can Tell" on the UK television program "Later... with Jools Holland."
