Elaine Glover (born 1982 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire) is an English actress. She grew up in Skipton.
Elaine trained at Rose Bruford College as an Actor Musician. Her professional appearances include The Royal, Footballers' Wives, Footballers' Wives: Extra Time, Silent Witness, Casualty, Doctors, The Bill, Holby City and Heartbeat and was an original cast member in the musical production of Bad Girls.She has taken leading roles at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Royal Exchange, Theatre Clywd and Salisbury Playhouse. She was an original cast member of Simon Beaufoy's The Full Monty which opened at The Lyceum in Sheffield and later transferred to the West End (after a number one tour) to The Nöel Coward theatre. She played PC Lucy Slater for two series in BBC1's Police drama, Holby Blue. In April 2009, Glover joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Abi Raven. Elaine appeared in Emmerdale as Detective Constable Laura Prior in 2010–2011. She played the role of Mary in Tim Firth's production of The Flint Street Nativity at Hull Truck Theatre in 2012. She has sung solo at London's O2 Arena and at The Royal Albert Hall. In 2011, Elaine underwent her raw food chef apprenticeship at Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali. She later went back to Bali to work as a chef and mentor at Radianty Alive, and then on to work as a chef in Notting Hill's acclaimed raw vegan restaurant - Nama.
