Effie Adelaide Maria Albanesi, née Henderson (New South Wales, Australia, 1859 – 16 October 1936, London, England), better known by her usual pen name of Effie Adelaide Rowlands, was a British novelist. She was the author of more than 250 six-penny (dime) novels.
She was the illegitimate daughter of Alexander Henderson (1828–1886). She was married for a time to playwright Cecil Raleigh (born Cecil Rowlands, from whom she may have taken her pen name), who divorced her. She later married Chevalier Carlo Albanesi, an Italian musician. She was the mother of actress Meggie Albanesi (née Margherita Cecilia Brigida Lucia Maria Albanesi, 1899–1923).
