Edward Frederick "Ed" Etzel, Jr. (born December 6, 1952) is a sports shooter and Olympic Champion for the United States. He won a gold medal in the 50 metre rifle prone event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Etzel was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He competed for the U.S. Army team. As of 2016, he is a professor of Sport and Exercise Psychology at West Virginia University.
