Eastpointe High School (formerly known as East Detroit High School) is a high school in Eastpointe, Michigan (Metro Detroit) which serves students in grades 9-12. It is part of the Eastpointe Community Schools district. It currently enrolls about 1,300 students.
The district voted to change the name on May 23, 2017 from East Detroit High School to Eastpointe High School.
In 2012, the school was divided into three career academies: the 9th Grade Success Academy, which helps freshmen have an easy transition into high school; and two upperclassmen academies, SLAM Academy (Safety, Learning, Culinary Arts, and Medical) and AMMP Academy (Art, Marketing, Media & TV Production).
