Easterns started as a small lot in Arlington, Virginia and grew to multiple locations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Easterns is known for its trademarked slogan "Where Your Job is Your Credit" and focuses its business on subprime and second chance financing car sales. Easterns is the trading as name for its corporation same SABMD, LLC.
The Easterns slogan is made popular of its DMV-exclusive jingle commercial, an instrumental version of Shaggy's "Hey Sexy Lady" with unique lyrics, usually featuring local athletes and celebrities such as; Kirk Cousins, Josh Norman, Ryan Kerrigan, Brain Orakpo, Gilbert Gottfried,Kevin Pollak, Chief Zee, Antwaan Randle El, Santana Moss, Willis McGahee, Alfred Morris, LaVar Arrington, Brendan Haywood, Chris Cooley, Jason Campbell, Clinton Portis, and Carmelo Anthony. The jingle and commercials with local athletes were covered on EPSN's Sports Center by comedian Reese Waters.
