EZ-Street was an American rock band formed in the late-1970s and broke up in 1982.
The band formed in Hayward, California in the late-1970s. The band included future Metallica bassist Cliff Burton, future Faith No More guitarist "Big" Jim Martin and future Faith No More/Ozzy Osbourne drummer Mike "Puffy" Bordin, all of whom were still in high school. Additional members included singer Kevin Costa and guitarist Danny Magalhaes. EZ-Street was Jim Martin's band, and Cliff wasn't very into it. From what he said, they were sort of a bar band, doing basically 1970s rock covers. Bottom line was that he wasn't very interested in doing that kind of music. The band finished fourth in the 1979 Hayward Area "Battle of the Bands" where their three-song set included a rousing cover of "Rebel Rebel." The band often changed drummers.
Martin and Burton would continue to perform together after EZ-Street disbanded under the name "Agents of Misfortune."
