Duiliu Marcu

Duiliu Marcu (1885, Calafat - 9 March 1966, Bucharest) was a Romanian architect. He studied at the Bucharest Superior School of Architecture and the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he graduated in 1912.

Initially his designs followed the French academic trend, later changed to the Neo-Romanian style, and finally in the 1930s joined the modern movement, becoming one of its main representatives in Romania.

His most important public buildings include the Superior School of War, Victoria Palace and the Palace of the Railway General Directorate in Bucharest.
