Duane A. Davidson is the Washington State Treasurer.
Davidson was raised in Carnation, Washington. He attended Central Washington University, and worked in the office of the Washington State Auditor. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He won election as the County Treasurer of Benton County, Washington, in 2003. In the 2016 elections, Davidson was elected state treasurer by winning 58% of the statewide vote. He also won every single county in the state in a general election race, something that no republican has done in the last 50+ years in WA state.
Davidson met his wife, Kathy, at Central Washington. They have three children, and live in Kennewick, Washington. His wife died in May 2016.
