The Fishing Bear is a 1940 animated short film, directed by Rudolf Ising for MGM as part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Barney Bear series. It is the second cartoon in the Barney Bear series. Released with the movie Congo Maisie by MGM on January 20, 1940. It tells the story of Barney going fishing but a duck gets in the way and Barney gets frustrated.
Barney's going fishing, but just as he's getting ready to hook a whole school of trout, a rather persistent duck keeps getting in the way.
