Noah Mac (born September 28, 1999) is an American singer/songwriter from Dublin, California. He finished in the semifinals of season 13 of the American talent competition The Voice.
Noah Mac was born September 28, 1999, in Dublin, California. When he was just seven years old, he sang "Judy and the Dream of Horses" by Belle and Sebastian, on his sister's funeral. Then, at ten, he started playing the piano. After that, he learned how to play the guitar, and then he started composing and writing his own songs. When he was only 17, he released his EP "Light".
Mac auditioned in 2017 to compete in thirteenth season of The Voice. In the blind auditions, broadcast on October 2, 2017, on NBC, he sang "Way Down We Go" from Kaleo. Two of the four judges, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton, turned their chairs with Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine refraining. He chose to be part of Team Blake. In The Battles stage, broadcast on October 16, 2017, he was eliminated by Blake Shelton who opted to keep Keisha Renee instead. Jennifer Hudson wanted to use the option of stealing the eliminated Mac and she continued as part of Team Jennifer, eventually getting eliminated on December 12, 2017, with "River".
