Cresencio "Dondon" Ampalayo (born April 18, 1963 in Cebu City, Philippines) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He won the PBA Rookie of the Year in 1986 while suiting up for Ginebra San Miguel. He is now living in the United States with his wife Anne Pasco Ampalayo and sons: Aldreen Pasco Ampalayo and Zachary Pasco Ampalayo.
Known for his pivot moves underneath the basket as well as clutch three-point shooting, Ampalayo was one of the more popular players from the Ginebra team, where he won three championships in 1986, 1988 and 1991. A series of injuries to his knees would rob him of his prime years and stalled his career. He would briefly suit up with Alaska Milk after his recovery before leaving the game for good.
