Don McGill is an American television producer and writer who assisted with producing and even starred in some episodes of JAG, he also aided in the production and/or writing of such TV series as CSI, NUMB3RS, and NCIS.
After working with such a distinguished television producer (Donald P. Bellisario), McGill has quickly started to understand the producer role, and will likely be adopting some of his more brilliant production techniques. He was recently the sole executive producer of the CBS series CSI which he took on following the departure of Carol Mendelsohn. McGill has also written for the TV show NUMB3RS which during its run he acted as executive producer. He was also a successful producer alongside Bellisario on JAG, and helped Bellisario create NCIS, which he also wrote for. In 2012, he signed a new contract which was a three-year agreement with the official production company of the series, CBS TV Studios. Under this new deal, McGill was able to continue on CSI, which was, at the time, being renewed for its next season, the 13th season of the show.
He became the solo executive producer of CSI for the show's fifteenth season after long-time show producer Carol Mendelsohn departed from the series, and remained with the series till its cancellation.
