Dominic Breazeale (born August 24, 1985) is an American professional boxer and one of the division's most popular top contenders. As an amateur he fought at super heavyweight and was the number one rated U.S. amateur boxer in the division. Breazeale is best known for his 2016 IBF world heavyweight title defeat by current champion Anthony Joshua in London.

A former quarterback on the football team at the University of Northern Colorado, Breazeale won the 2012 U.S. National Super Heavyweight championship at the Fort Carson Special Events Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Breazeale qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London but lost in the preliminary round to Magomed Omarov, with a score of 19-8.

Breazeale is currently 17–1 as a professional, with 15 wins coming by KO. He is fighting under Al Haymon's PBC banner. He is from Alhambra, California, but currently makes his home in Anaheim, California.

On 26 September 2015, Breazeale won a controversial and disputed points decision over Cameroonian fighter Fred Kassi.

On 26 January 2016, Breazeale was involved in a tough bout against fellow American Amir Mansour, during which Breazeale was floored in the third round before coming back to win when Mansour suffered a severe laceration in his mouth after biting through his tongue and was forced to quit on his stool at the end of the fifth round.

In April 2016, Breazeale was selected as the opponent for Anthony Joshua's first defence of his IBF heavyweight title, with the fight taking place on 25 June 2016 at the O2 Arena in London. Breazeale had little success in the fight and was eventually knocked out in the seventh round after being knocked down for a second time. Despite this, he still earned plaudits for his heart, bravery and determination, after taking many hard punches he still returned with his own and continued to fight on.
