Dixon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sanders County, Montana, United States. The population was 216 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.9 square miles (18 km2), of which, 6.6 square miles (17 km2) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 km2) of it (100%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 216 people, 89 households, and 54 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 32.5 people per square mile (12.6/km²). There were 93 housing units at an average density of 14.0 per square mile (5.4/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 75.46% White, 20.37% Native American, and 4.17% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.39% of the population.
There were 89 households out of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.1% were married couples living together, 7.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.3% were non-families. 31.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
