Diana Rouvas (born 29 January 1984) is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter signed to Universal Music Australia. Rouvas started vocal training at age four, and writing at age eight. She was on stage at an early age performing, and relocated to the US at 16 to pursue her music career as a singer-songwriter. At 17 she toured with Australian artist Tina Arena as a backing vocalist, visiting France and China. In 2006 Diana represented Australia in G'Day LA celebrations in LA. In 2006 she also recorded an original EP with Rufus, of Rufus and Chaka Khan. She was first recognised in Australia when she appeared in the first season of The Voice in 2012. She made it to the final top eight, ranking fifth overall. She is most recognised for her rendition of Beyonce's "Love on Top" and her interpretation of the old blues classic "Stormy Monday" written by T Bone Walker. She was signed soon after to Universal Music Australia, and has since released her single "Heart of Goodbye" in April 2014, which she co-wrote with producer and songwriter Louis Schoorl, who produced the EP, with added production by UK producer Sermstyle in the US.
