Deuce Three Productions is an American film and television production company founded by director, producer and Academy Award winning screenwriter Curtis Hanson. The company's headquarters are located in West Hollywood, California.
Deuce Three Productions was named after the two lowest playing cards in a deck. Hanson, an avid poker player , wanted the name of the company to reflect his optimistic belief that anyone can overcome the odds against them, no matter how meager their beginnings. Following the release of Hanson's movie, Wonder Boys, he was joined at the helm of Deuce Three by his longtime creative collaborator, Carol Fenelon. Since that time, Hanson and Fenelon have produced numerous theatrical films, television productions and DVD featurettes under the Deuce Three banner.
