Deportivo Walter Ferretti is a Nicaraguan football team who play in the Nicaraguan Premier Division. They are based in Managua.
The club was founded in 1987 as the sporting wing of the Nicaraguan Army, with the name of Dirección General de La Polícia Sandinista, or DGPS, for short. Late in 1988, revolutionary Walter Ferretti, one of the club's founders, died in a car accident on the road to Leon. As a tribute to Ferretti, the club was named after him.
