Del Amo is an elevated light rail station on the Los Angeles County Metro Blue Line. It has an elevated platform over Del Amo Boulevard where it intersects with Santa Fe Avenue, and is on the Blue Line right-of-way in the Los Angeles County community of Rancho Dominguez (near the border with Carson).
Del Amo is the only elevated Blue Line station that was not originally built to handle three car trains. The northern end of the platform was lengthened in 2000.
The Blue Line maintenance and storage yard is located between the Wardlow and Del Amo stations. [1]
Blue Line service hours are approximately from 5:00 AM until 12:45 AM daily.
