Deborah Hurwitz is an American composer, conductor and singer/songwriter who has worked on award winning productions. She is best known for her work with the Cirque du Soleil and the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys. She has also worked on multiple Broadway, Off-Broadway and touring musicals, on numerous films and television shows, and with musicians such as Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Gloria Estefan, Marc Shaiman, Sarah Brightman, Sinead O'Connor, and Johnny Mathis.

Hurwitz was born in Harrogate, England and is a dual citizen. She trained as a concert pianist and played her first major solo debut at the age of 12. She graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition.

Hurwitz has scored films and television shows,interactive media, and live shows. Commercially, Hurwitz has written, arranged and produced music for national commercial campaigns including Old Navy and Capital One, and television shows including Sesame Street, America's Got Talent, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Bravo's Million Dollar Listing, and Guiding Light, amongst others.
