Debabrata Saikia

Debabrata Saikia (born December 14, 1964 in Nazira, Assam) is the current Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly. Saikia was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly in 2011 from Nazira constituency and retained his seat in 2016. He is the son of former Chief Minister of Assam, Hiteswar Saikia.
