Max Barsky is a Jewish-American professional wrestler best known by his ring name David Starr. Starr has wrestled for promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling, Evolve, Revolution Pro Wrestling, westside Xtreme wrestling, Ring of Honor, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and many others.
Starr was began amateur wrestling at the seven. He continued with collegiate wrestling in high school at Abington High. Starr graduated in 2009 and was third all-time with 92 wins and placed in the top 16 at the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) Nationals between 149-157 pounds. He went to Elizabethtown College on a amateur wrestling scholarship before transfering to West Chester University. He was an National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) National qualifier at 157 pounds.
David started wrestling in 2012 where he debuted in World Xtreme Wrestling. His first match was against Supreme Lee Great in February of 2012.
On November 10, 2016 at Revolution Pro Wrestling's "Global Wars: Night One" in London, England; Starr teamed with Tyler Bate and Trent Severn losing to Evil, Tetsuya Naito, and Sanada. Evil got the pin on Starr.
On March 10, 2017 entered the 2017 16 Carat Gold Tournament. He was eliminated in the first round by WALTER.
On January 9, 2016; Starr was involved in a dark which was fatal four way against Leon St. Giovanni, Ken Phoenix, and Foxx Vinyer to qualify for 2016 ROH Top Prospect Tournament in which St. Giovanni won.
