David "Dave" Sampson (born English professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and coach of the 1980s and 1990s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity, Bramley, and Castleford, and coaching at club level for Castleford, Doncaster, and Nottingham City.
