David E. Lucas, Sr. (born April 23, 1950) is an American politician. He is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 26th District, serving since 2012. He is a member of the Democratic party. Black also served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1974 to 2011. He is the father of gridiron football player Al Lucas who died during a game while playing for the Los Angeles Avengers.
