David Galloway (birth registered October–December 1884 — death registered January–March 1913 (aged 28–29)) birth registered in Pontypridd district, was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s, and 1910s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Treherbert, and Hull, as a hooker, or second-row, i.e. number 9, or 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums. his death was registered in Pontypridd district He was buried on 26 Feb 1913 in Treorchy Cemetery, Rhondda, Wales (Plot A2 8). Son of John Galloway and Emma Denby. Youngest of 5 children. Great Uncle of Baroness Anita Gale
