David Eugene Fellhauer (born August 19, 1939) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who was the second bishop of Bishop of Victoria in Texas. He retired in 2015.
David Fellhauer was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and ordained to the priesthood on May 29, 1965. He obtained his doctorate in canon law from Saint Paul University in 1979, and did pastoral and curial work in the Diocese of Dallas-Fort Worth, during which time he has been accused of having transferred sexually-abusive priests to various posts.
On April 7, 1990, Fellhauer was appointed the second Bishop of Victoria in Texas by Pope John Paul II. He received his episcopal consecration on the following May 28 from Archbishop Patrick Flores, with Bishops Thomas Tschoepe and Charles Grahmann serving as co-consecrators. He was given the Role of Law award from the Canon Law Society of America in 1998.
