Davenport is a northeastern suburb of Port Augusta in South Australia.
The modern suburb was created in 2014 by cutting out parts of the existing areas of Wami Kata and Port Augusta. However, the Corporate Town of Davenport had previously existed as a local government body from 1887 to 1932.
Davenport includes the former Umeewarra Aboriginal Mission and the Wami Kata Old Folks Home.
The suburb lies within the cadastral hundred of Davenport.
