Daryl Daye (born February 1, 1963) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the defensive coordinator at Northwestern State University. Daye previously served as the head football coach at Missouri Southern State University, a position he had held from 2012 until 2014, and at Nicholls State University from 1999 to 2003. He was named Southland Conference Coach of the Year in 2002.
Daye is an alumnus of Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played football. He has been an assistant coach at LSU (graduate assistant), the University of Southern Mississippi (graduate assistant), Liberty University (defensive line coach and defensive coordinator), Southern University (special teams coach) and Missouri Southern State University (defensive coordinator). He also spent two years in the National Football League (NFL) as an assistant to Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey.
