Darwell, Alberta

Darwell is an unincorporated community in central Alberta in Lac Ste. Anne County. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of Highway 16, 74 kilometres (46 mi) northwest of Edmonton.

Darwell is home to Oneil Carlier, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in the Government of Alberta and member of the Legislative Assembly representing the electoral district of Whitecourt-Ste. Anne. Minister Carlier was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in the 2015 Alberta general election.
