Darvel Football Club are a Scottish football club, based in the town of Darvel, Ayrshire.
Nicknamed "The Vale" or "The Juniors", and formed in 1889, the club play at Recreation Park (on Irvinebank Road), and currently, the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. Reaching the final of the 1975–76 Scottish Junior Cup (beaten 3–0 by Bo'ness United) has been the most illustrious point in the club's history.
During the 2016/17 season Darvel romped to the title in the Ayrshire District League and thus gaining promotion in an emphatic manner.
The team are managed since June 2013 by Scott (Paddy) Clelland, who has achieved the status as the man who brought glory back to the Darvel dressing room and beyond the gates of Recreation Park.
