Danilo Gabriel de Andrade, or simply Danilo (also known as ZiDanilo) (born June 11, 1979 in São Gotardo), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Corinthians.
Had some of his most successful years with Sao Paulo FC that resulted in a move to Kashima Antlers. At São Paulo FC he was nicknamed Zidanilo (in homage to Zinedine Zidane) and was known for his technique, playmaking abilities and goals that he scored. Returns to Brazil for playing in Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, being also again national, continental and world champion. Danilo is one of the most important player of Corinthians team.
According to Alexandre Lozetti, a columnist for GloboEsporte.com, "Danilo is the Greatest football player who has never played or been selected for a National Team".
