Daniel Farke (German pronunciation: [ˈdaːnjəl ˈfaːʁkə]; born 30 October 1976) is a German association football manager and former professional player who is the head coach of Championship club Norwich City.
Farke played the majority of his career with SV Lippstadt 08, with whom he had 3 spells. He played his whole career in the lower levels of German football.
Farke began his managerial career with the club with whom he spent most of his playing career, SV Lippstadt 08. He was in charge for 6 years before accepting the opportunity to take charge of Borussia Dortmund II, the reserve side of well respected German club Borussia Dortmund.
Norwich City
On 25 May 2017, Farke was appointed as the head coach of Championship club Norwich City on a two-year contract.Marley Watkins was the first signing for Daniel Farke at Norwich City on the 1st June 2017. Farke's first league game for Norwich City ended in a 1-1 draw after a late equaliser from Nelson Oliviera at Craven Cottage. He managed his first competitive game at Carrow Road on 8 August 2017, as Norwich beat Swindon Town 3–2 in the EFL Cup.
