Dane Cobain (born 11 June 1989) is a British author of fiction, non-fiction and poetry from Tamworth, Staffordshire and based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
In June 2015, Cobain's debut novella, supernatural thriller No Rest for the Wicked, was released by Booktrope's Forsaken imprint. This was followed in 2016 by poetry collection Eyes Like Lighthouses When the Boats Come Home,literary fiction novel Former.ly: The Rise and Fall of a Social Network, non-fiction book Social Paranoia: How Consumers and Brands Can Stay Safe in a Connected World, and horror novella and screenplay Come On Up to the House.. In the same year, No Rest for the Wicked was re-released by Dragon Moon Press.
In 2017, Cobain released Subject Verb Object: An Anthology of New Writing, which featured contributions by eighteen authors including Michael-Israel Jarvis, Pam Elise Harris, J. G. Clay, Stevyn Colgan and Chico Kidd.
Cobain is the owner and administrator of book blog SocialBookshelves.com, which ranked 5th in Vuelio's 2016 list of the United Kingdom's top ten literature blogs and 35th in FeedSpot's list of the 100 top book review blogs. He's also kept a journal since he was 17.
