D-Block & S-te-Fan (Diederik Bakker and Stefan den Daas) are two hardstyle,electro house and progressive house DJs/producers from The Netherlands.
Bakker and den Daas met in 2004. Bakker grew up with his father producing electronic music, which allowed him to learn musical skills at an early age; Daas' experience was with happy hardcore. They began performing and recording together, and had their first release as D-Block & S-te-Fan in 2005. The pair had a string of releases on various labels before signing for Scantraxx and launching their own sub label, Scantraxx Evolutionz, on which they continue to release as of 2014.
Over their career, D-Block & S-te-Fan have performed at large hardstyle and dance events, including, Thrillogy, Qlimax, Mysteryland, Decibel and in 2011 hosted their own X-Qlusive. They also did a remix of the Headhunterz & Wildstylez track "Blame it on the Music," which was featured on Headhunterz' 2010 Studio Sessions album.
In 2010 D-Block & S-te-Fan were ranked at #73 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's as their entry year. Then in 2011 D-Block & S-te-Fan climbed 33 rankings and got ranked at #40 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's. Another year later in 2012 D-Block & S-te-Fan fell down 24 rankings and got ranked at #64 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's. Most recently in 2013 D-Block & S-te-Fan fell down 8 more rankings and got ranked at #72 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's.
In 2015 D-Block & S-te-Fan had released three singles with their house productions dubbed DBSTF. Blasterjaxx had collaborated with them to release a track called Beautiful World on January 5, 2015 with vocals from British Vocalist Ryder on Hardwell's Label Revealed Recordings. They released another Track on Doorn Records called Do Your Thing on April 6, 2015. They released a new track under Mainstage Music with Hilversum Progressive House Duo Sick Individuals titled Waiting for you on August 3, 2015
