Cuts for Luck and Scars for Freedom is the debut album by Mystic, released on June 19, 2001 through Good Vibe Recordings.
Featuring a combination of R&B, hip hop and Soul, Cuts for Luck was met with positive reviews and helped Mystic receive a BET award nomination for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Kludge magazine ranked it at number seven on their list of best albums of 2001. The album did not perform well commercially, however, and to date she has yet to release a follow-up album. The album is now out of print.
