Curtin is a telemovie about the wartime Prime Minister of Australia, John Curtin.
The film covers the period from just before Curtin became Prime Minister until the return of the 6th and 7th Divisions to Australia at the start of the Pacific war.
Much of the film was made in Victoria, with the exception of scenes filmed at Old Parliament House, Canberra. Locations included Victoria Barracks, Rippon Lea Estate and Point Cook air base. Library footage of the train was taken from A Steam Train Passes.
