Ctenus is a genus of spider in the family Ctenidae. It is widely distributed, from South America through Africa to East Asia.
The genus Ctenus was erected by Charles Athanase Walckenaer in 1805, initially only for the species Ctenus dubius.
As of March 2016[update], the World Spider Catalog accepted the following species:
