Cristina Gonzales Romuáldez (born May 1, 1970) is a former actress turned politician.
She is the daughter of actor Jose Mari Gonzales. She has a younger sister, Anna Margarita Gonzales, who is also a retired actress.
The sisters are of Spanish and British ancestry from her mother's side.
She is married to Alfred Romualdez (mayor of Tacloban City and nephew of Imelda Marcos), where she herself serves as city councilor since in 2007. The couple has two daughters.
During the 2016 Philippine Election Cristina's daughter Sofia, who was under age that time, posted on Twitter questioning Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo qualification for the vice-presidency which contained foul language and offensive statement in her tweet. In a post on her Facebook, Romualdez apologized and said she did not approve of the words her daughter Sofia used in the controversial Twitter post.
