CDET is the quality assurance and membership body for the professional dance and musical theatre industries with an increasing engagement across the performing arts including drama. The organisation is the first point of contact for those seeking information about training, education and assessment at all levels of study in the sector. The organisation's members make an enormous contribution to the sustainability and international profile of the UK creative industries. CDET has served the sector since 1979, working hand in hand with Accredited schools and Validated awarding organisations to ensure that provision remains at the forefront of current industry trends, and addresses the real world needs of employers, with the purpose of securing the supply of high quality practitioners for the future.
