As of the census of 2000, there were 592 people, 214 households, and 167 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 122.0 people per square mile (47.1/km²). There were 230 housing units at an average density of 47.4/sq mi (18.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.70% White, 9.80% African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% from other races, and 0.17% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.69% of the population.
