The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Comilla is an autonomous organization, that is responsible for holding public examinations (JSC, S.S.C and H.S.C) in Comilla and near by 5 districts of Comilla Division. The board is established in 1962, under the East Pakistan Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962.
The present chairperson of the board is Professor Indu Bhushan Bhowmik.
