The Cinnaminson Township Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Cinnaminson Township, in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's four schools had an enrollment of 1,652 students and 194.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.48:1.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
The Project Challenge program is a program for gifted students from grades 2 through 8 who attend New Albany Elementary School, Eleanor Rush Intermediate School and Cinnaminson Middle School, where students can learn more while having fun. Project Challenge was conceived by Elaine Mendelow, a teacher in the district, who taught it for over 20 years, now being retired from the program.
