Chughtai


Chughtai or Chagatai (Turkish: Çağatay, Urdu: چغتائی‎) is a family name that originated in the Chaghataite Khanate.

The origin of Chughtai as surname is claimed to be arisen in Chaghataite Khanate as taken up by the descendents and successors of Chaghatai Khan.
