Christine McPeters Auten (born May 7, 1969 in Huntsville, Alabama) is an American voice actress, ADR Director, and ADR Script Writer who works for Funimation and ADV Films. She has provided voices for a number of English-language versions of Japanese anime films. As of 2017, she lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Andrew Auten. She is currently a producer for SXSW Interactive. Auten is best known as the voice of Esdeath, the main antagonist from the popular anime Akame ga Kill, Mesousa from Pani Poni Dash, Kurenai from Samurai Gun, Yufan Xia from Full Metal Panic, Priscilla Asagiri from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, Sanada from the UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie and Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh.
