The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association, or CTBA was established for political compensation on February 28, 1973. The Chinese translation of the English name is: traditional Chinese: 中華台北棒球協會, hanyu pinyin: Zhōnghuá Táiběi bàngqiú xiéhuì.
