China Gulch is a former settlement in Plumas County, California. It lay at an elevation of 5610 feet (1710 m). China Gulch is located 5.5 miles (8.9 km) south of Bucks Lake. It still appeared on maps as of 1897.

A smelter for the Engels Copper Mine was located at China Gulch.
