Chief of Naval Staff (Ghana)

The head of the Ghana Navy is known by the official title of Chief of Naval Staff in the Ghana Armed Forces. The list of former heads lies below. The current Chief of Army Staff is Rear Admiral Peter Kofi Faidoo. He was appointed to the position by President Akuffo-Addo on 9 February 2017.

There have been 17 heads of the Ghana navy since its inception. One officer, Rear Admiral Dzang served two terms.
