Chawridge Bourne is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) based in Berkshire near Maidens Green. Part of the site is a nature reserve called Chawridge bank which is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Naturalists Trust.
The site is 9.3 hectares in size, with the Chawridge bank nature reserve being about 4.5 hectares of the site. The site is best described as natural grassland and a lowland broad leaf and yew woodland, which is called Steven's Copse. The site is situated on London Clay soils and lies along the banks of a small stream.
In 1984 the site was designated a site of special scientific interest (SSSI). The Chawridge Bank nature reserve was expanded in 2011.
